We are delighted to announce our Epaderm Ambassadors, Victoria and Kate.
Our first winner, Victoria Welton, established her blog in 2012 and has been discussing family, parenting, food, health, entertainment and lifestyle related topics ever since.
For Victoria, eczema has always been a part of her family history, having lived with the condition since she was a baby including dyshidrosis. Victoria has also seen her two children embark on their own skin journeys with eczema and keratosis pilaris. Fortunately she has found success using Epaderm as a treatment, particularly because it is kind to their skin and can be used without fear of any long-term effects.
“We loved the originality of Victoria’s blog post and the different angle it presented: firstly describing her personal eczema experience beginning in her early twenties and then her teenage daughter’s experiences. We also loved Victoria’s writing style as it was clear and easy to follow.” – Epaderm Judging Panel, group statement.
Our second winner, Kate Kirk, has been blogging for nine years about her experiences with motherhood and family life more generally.
Kate has seen her son and both her daughters struggle with eczema and skin sensitivities. She has found that applying emollient cream regularly as well as using ointment helps to both soothe and prevent itching. Kate has particularly enjoyed Epaderm as it doesn’t make their skin sting.
“Kate offered great practical eczema management tips from her routine with her daughters and her blog page was clear and easy to read. We loved how Kate was honest about her families specific experiences and differentiated between her use of ointment versus cream.” – Epaderm Judging Panel, group statement.
We are very much looking forward to seeing Victoria and Kate’s blog content, and we hope that it helps to support our online Epaderm community. Look out for content from them on our website shortly as well as their blog and social channels too!
